MC001 Rose
5-heart Valdres rose, one of many rose designs seen throughout, and specific to, Valdres, Norway. In Valdres, all barns are painted red and decorated with a carved rose hex symbol, which is then painted white. This tradition was brought to Valdres by a Norwegian carpenter who had lived in a Pennsylvania Dutch community in the late 1800’s and returned to his birthplace in Valdres, Norway.		 MC002 Stavekirke
